SailPoint Technologies, a leading enterprise identity security firm, has unveiled a new non-employee risk management solution based on its recent acquisition of SecZetta, aiming to deliver quick time-to-value to its global clientele. The SailPoint Non-Employee Risk Management add-on is now available on the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, and it enables organizations to execute risk-based identity access and lifecycle strategies for non-employees such as contractors, third-party partners, suppliers, and even non-human bots. By leveraging AI-driven identity security, enterprises can ensure that data and applications are secure, thereby reducing third-party risk and supporting regulatory compliance requirements.

SailPoint’s new capability will offer broad oversight into all identities and their technology needs, providing a critical layer of identity risk management and overall governance required to validate non-employees and their access across all businesses. The solution supports operational efficiency in managing the complex relationships that organizations have with non-employees while providing prescriptive and thoughtful approaches to governance across employee and non-employee identity populations.

Matt Mills, President of Worldwide Field Operations for SailPoint, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering new value quickly, stating that the new solution’s creation and development was intended to bring an important and emerging part of the identity security puzzle to market. He highlighted SailPoint’s intention to continue developing its comprehensive approach to identity security by buying or building technologies that match immediate customer needs and benefit their global customer base.

Dane Paulsen, IT Manager, Nelnet, commended SailPoint’s new non-employee risk management solution and stated that the technology would provide better visibility and management of their growing non-employee population while offering a critical layer of identity risk management and overall governance needed to fully validate non-employees and their access across the business.
