Aston Business School was recently ranked the best in the UK for
getting postgraduates into good jobs.
The Birmingham-based institution topped the table for Careers rank in
the Financial Times Masters in Management programmes.
Careers rank measures the career status of alumni three years after
graduation, taking into account their progression,
seniority and the size of the company in which they are employed.
The School was ranked second (2) in the UK and thirteenth (13) in
Europe in the Financial Times League Table.
The global reputation of Aston Business School’s MSc in International
Business helped it to attract a high percentage of overseas students.
There were 99 students enrolled on the course in the last academic
year.
Professor Michael West, Executive Dean of Aston Business School said:
“Aston Business School is constantly striving
to improve the courses it offers students, as well as the positive
experience they have while learning in Birmingham,” he said.
“We are very proud to be placed second overall in the UK and
especially pleased to top the table for our careers rank.
“Our success was the result of hard work by students and staff.”
