QHotels Celebrates Award Wins
QHotels celebrated two successful wins at the Meetings Industry
Marketing Awards held at the Science Museum in London on Monday 15th
October.
Picking up the BDRC* award for ‘Most Improved Brand Performance’ and
silver for ‘Best Brochure - Venues’ Elizabeth Howe, Director of
Marketing for QHotels commented: “We are delighted to win this coveted
BDRC title, particularly as we were up against some strong finalists.”
“The QHotels brand is synonymous with luxury, dynamism and style and
I am certain that our business approach has led to our recent success.
We believe in total customer satisfaction and are not afraid to be
different to get results,” added Howe.
This win follows the recent ranking of No.27 in the Sunday Times 2007
Fastrack Buyout Top 100** for the group.
Other recent award wins for the group include Crewe Hall, Cheshire
which won The Positive Action Award for its service, support and
facilities for the disabled guest, making it the only hotel in the
Northwest to win this award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award recently
won by Bruno Lucchi, Maitre d’ at The French Restaurant at The Midland
at the annual Cheshire Life Awards earlier in October.
QHotels was founded in March 2003 by a team of experienced hoteliers
in collaboration with venture capitalists Alchemy Partners. Today the
group has a mix of 22 traditional and new build properties across the
UK; with over 2,800 bedrooms, 250 meeting and conference rooms and a
combination of specialist offerings from health, fitness and spa
facilities, specialist wedding packages to golf facilities for all
