UNIQUE NEW MULTI-FORMAT MULTIMEDIA SOFTWARE MAKES DIY PRESENTATIONS A DODDLE

A revolutionary new presentation software package has been launched, allowing companies to create professional-quality multimedia presentations in-house, at a fraction of the cost of outsourcing to an audio-visual firm.

Unlike other presentation software, Power2Show has the ability to combine numerous multimedia formats such as PowerPoint, Flash animation, digital video clips and live web links to produce a seamless looped showreel - ideal for on-stand promotions, retail point of sale, launch parties or corporate events. The content can easily be tailored to different audiences using scrolling text banners, making a single presentation suitable for multiple uses.

Developed by US visual communication software house RePromotion, Power2Show supports a wide range of multimedia formats, including Windows Media File; Windows Video File; mpeg movie files; jpeg pictures; Bitmap images; Windows Media Audio Files; MP3 audio files; Gif files; Quick Time Movie Files; Macromedia Shockwave; DivX movie files; Macromedia Flash files; Windows Video File; Live Web Pages; and MS PowerPoint.

The result of a four-year research and development project, Power2Show 'plug and play' software is quick and easy to use and requires minimal training. Users simply cut and paste the desired presentation content from their PC to the Power2Show schedule listing, set display timings and the software will play the film on a loop at the specified times.

It allows sales and marketing teams to maintain tighter control over presentation content, regardless of their level of technical ability, as John Frenkel, Chief Executive of RePromotion UK explains. "Power2Show puts the user firmly in the control seat. For example, if you are going to an exhibition abroad and the legislation changes when you get there, you can easily edit out the sections that are no longer appropriate without having to reproduce the whole presentation."

The software also allows companies to harness the potential of live web content, providing customers with up-to-the-minute information and news. Hotel lobbies, for example, could display local news, sports or weather headlines, while leisure clubs could keep guests entertained with up-to-date information from their field.

John continues: "Whatever the forum, however lean the budget, Power2Show can help organisations inform and entertain their target audiences, delivering their message in a way that's guaranteed to get them noticed."

Power2Show is available for download for £250 plus VAT from www.power2show.co.uk  Free 30-day trials are also available.
