NEW LOOK STARPACK AWARDS 2008 OPEN FOR ENTRIES
- Design and marketing performance across branded goods and retail
markets are among the key attributes asked of entries to the rejuvenated
Starpack Industry Awards 2008.
Placing additional emphasis on consumer facing issues across the
complete packaging community, the awards will also address the burning
consumer issue of environmental sustainability.
The Starpack Industry Awards 2008 will focus on packs delivering
significant improvements across design and marketing, environmental
performance, and technical developments.

Openbravo 'Get Together' to be held 26-28 October, 2007

developing sound minimising wall panels in her studio in London’s OXO
Tower – now the capital’s libraries, hotels and even the Lawn Tennis

NATIONAL CONFERENCE SPARKS DEBATE ON HEALTH AND
WELLBEING OF OLDER PEOPLE
The original goals of the Partnership in Action discussion paper
published by the Government in 1998 were to begin the process of
enabling health and social care services to work more closely together.
Nine years on, true partnership still only occurs in pockets of
excellence around the country.
This summer a major conference supported by the Department of Health
and Counsel and Care, the national charity getting the best care and
support for older people, their families and carers, will discuss some
of the innovative ways in which the health and well being of older
people can be improved by moving the focus from partnership towards
integration of services through Local Area Agreements and by making more

Savekers’ display in running for industry’s top new
award

The innovative Rapic range of mix-and-match modular wooden display
and storage systems, developed and manufactured by specialist
shopfitting systems company Savekers, has been announced as a finalist
in the inaugural Shopfitting & Display Industry Awards.
Rapic has been shortlisted for the Award category ‘Best Free Standing
