IEEM Best Practice Awards 2007

This has been the first year that IEEM has run a Best Practice Awards competition and it has been a great success.

Entries were received from across the UK and Ireland and from all sectors of the ecology profession.

The eventual winner, as voted for by the delegates at the Nottingham conference was the Cornwall Farm Environment Link Project entered by the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG). The other finalists were the Environment Agency for their Aquatic Macrophyte Training, Accreditation and CPD Scheme, and River Habitat Survey Accreditation Training Programme, and Natura Environmental Consultants for their project, Green City Guidelines.

Congratulations go out to all three finalists and indeed to all the entrants of the competition.
