Red Advertising Acquires Job Store
Online classified job advertising group Red Advertising Ltd today
confirmed that it has completed the acquisition of the niche Catering
and Hospitality job board www.jobstore.co.uk from its previous owners
JSP Resources Limited.
This follows an earlier statement from the company confirming that it
is looking to increase its market share within the online classified job
advertising space via both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Commenting on the latest developments, Red Advertising Director
Richard Clarke said “We are absolutely delighted to have secured this
business. It increases our market share of the online Catering and
Hospitality job sectors and combined with our other online offerings is,
not only a good strategic fit for us, but also helps increase our
exposure to both candidates and advertisers within this sector”
The financial Consideration for the acquisition remains confidential
at the request of the previous owners.
Richard Clarke further commented “We intend to continue to build on
the current positioning we have achieved to date during 2008 and are
shortly due to launch our new network advertising platform enabling us,
for the first time, to bring all of our internet job board properties
together under the one facility. This will provide clients with even
greater coverage and further advertising brand awareness. The
acquisition of jobstore.co.uk takes our number of niche and generalist
job boards to 14 and we intend to advance on this during the coming
year”
